A/B-tested banner sets in 4 languages, 450+ assets
For ChannelEngine's international marketing campaign, static banners were not sufficient. The objective was to create animated HTML banners that did more than just inform; they needed to engage potential clients and encourage them to envision what ChannelEngine could offer, no matter where they were in the marketing funnel.
A new creative direction was chosen to differentiate this campaign from previous ones, while still reflecting the brand's core visual identity. The concept focused on fictional merchants and their products—playful, relatable characters designed to capture attention and set the scene. The banners then shifted to clear and concise examples of how ChannelEngine addresses real e-commerce challenges.
Two design directions were developed for A/B testing, each with different messaging and calls to action. Seven banner sizes were created for each design, localized into four languages—English, Dutch, German, and Italian—resulting in a highly effective suite of over 450 banners, all optimized for maximum impact.
